You are contestants, drawn by fame, fortune, or a desperate need for redemption, only to find yourselves pawns in a conflict between the pragmatic Curators and the enslaved Elemental, both fighting for survival. Will you uphold the brutal tradition to maintain order, or will you risk everything to shatter an ancient chain?

Chronicle Prelude

The Grand Chantry, a bustling, sun-baked hub of decadent spectators, anxious gladiators, and shrewd merchants surrounding the arena's outer gates. The air smells of sweat, dust, and roasted meats, but the undercurrent of fear is palpable as the latest 'Enhanced' sand dummy assault is announced.

Environmental Traits

The desert itself is dying. The Sand Elemental's rage causes localized sandstorms and destabilizes the very foundations of the surrounding oasis towns. The Curators believe a public spectacle of controlled violence is the only way to siphon off the Elemental's fury; the Elemental believes its freedom is the only way to heal the land.
