You are caught in the middle, a lone party in a world where both sides have a claim to survival, and the trolls want you all dead.
Chronicle Prelude
You arrive at Frostwolf Outpost 'Hearthfrost,' a smoky, palisaded settlement built into the side of a glacial cliff. The air smells of pine smoke and thawing earth. Frostwolf warriors eye you with suspicion, while desperate-looking Thawfront refugees huddle near geothermal vents at the settlement's edge, their tents melting the permafrost. A tenuous, icy truce holds here, but tensions are as brittle as the surrounding ice.
