The Stone Nun Night-Walks of Distant-Tide Isle and the Melodies Echoing from the Abbey Well-Bottom
The salt-crusted air of Distant-Tide Isle carries whispers of the Silent Sisters, petrified nuns who walk the cliffs only on moonless nights. Their chant, a dissonant harmony heard from the depths of the old Abbey's dry well, promises either salvation or damnation. Veteran players are plunged into a grim sandbox where piety and survival are at odds, and the truth is buried beneath centuries of stone and song.
Chronicle Prelude
The players arrive at Fogrest, a miserable, rain-lashed fishing village clinging to the edge of Distant-Tide Isle. The villagers are sullen and suspicious, speaking in hushed tones of the Silent Sisters and the Abbey. A single, decrepit pier serves as the only link to the mainland, shrouded in perpetual mist.
Environmental Traits
The island is gripped by a supernatural blight. The crops are turning to calcite, and villagers who venture too close to the Abbey at night are found petrified by dawn. The melodies from the well are growing louder, and the Silent Sisters' night-walks are creeping closer to the village. The ultimate goal is to uncover the source of the curse and decide the fate of the island.
