The scent of beeswax and stale cigar smoke hangs thick in the air. The heavy, repetitive tick of a grandfather clock punctuates the profound silence. Three moth-eaten tapestries dominate the paneled walls, their faded figures seeming to absorb all sound. A massive Lindale Grandfather Clock stands in the corner, its brass pendulum swinging in a slow, hypnotic arc.
