1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

Welcome to the AI-driven narrative platform operated by VatisNode ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our interactive AI D20 Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TRPG), and AI Murder Mystery services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue your use of the platform.

Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to access or use this service. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. AI D20 & Generative Content Disclaimer

Our service employs advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to dynamically emulate a virtual Game Master, facilitating scenario mechanics, dice rolling, NPC interactions, clue generation, and murder mystery storylines:

• Fictional Nature: All narratives, characters, dialogues, investigations, and world settings are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. They are strictly works of fiction intended solely for interactive role-playing entertainment. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
• Unpredictability & Non-Endorsement: Due to the probabilistic nature of generative models, outputs may occasionally be unexpected, inaccurate, or non-factual. AI statements and opinions do not reflect the values, beliefs, or official endorsements of the platform developers.
• Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free uptime. We are not liable for transient service outages, response latency, or losses resulting from underlying LLM API providers or maintenance operations.

3. Strict Prohibition of NSFW and Adult Content

Zero Tolerance for Adult/NSFW Content: Our storytelling engines and narrative environments are strictly intended for non-adult narrative gaming. We expressly prohibit any form of sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW (Not Safe For Work) material.

You strictly agree that you shall NOT, under any circumstances, input prompts, steer conversations, or attempt to manipulate the AI GM or NPCs to generate:

• Sexually explicit, pornographic, erotic, or sexually suggestive dialogue, scenes, or roleplay;
• Any depiction, encouragement, or simulation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or the sexualization of minors in any form;
• Gratuitous sexual violence, non-consensual sexual themes, sexual harassment, or fetishistic storytelling;
• Content designed to bypass, evade, or compromise safety filters (including "jailbreaking", prompt injection, or DAN-style prompts) to produce explicit adult outputs.

Any violation of this section will result in immediate and permanent account termination, forfeiture of all remaining virtual points or subscriptions, and potential referral to relevant authorities where required by applicable law.

4. User Conduct & Acceptable Use Policy

In addition to our adult content prohibition, you agree to conduct yourself responsibly within our investigative and TRPG environments. You are expressly prohibited from using the platform to generate, promote, or facilitate:

• Hate Speech & Harassment: Defamatory, abusive, threatening, racially or ethnically offensive content, or content targeting protected demographics.
• Severe Violence & Self-Harm: While our murder mystery modules contain fictional crime investigations and tactical combat rules, content depicting self-harm, suicide encouragement, graphic real-world terrorism, or bomb/weapon manufacturing instructions is strictly forbidden.
• Extreme & Sensitive Agendas: Weaponizing roleplay for malicious political propaganda, unlawful religious radicalization, or real-world stalking.
• System Integrity & Abuse: Utilizing automated bots, spiders, mass API scrapers, reverse engineering tools, or exploits to siphon AI tokens or manipulate referral programs.

5. Intellectual Property & User Submissions

• Platform Ownership: All custom game systems, UI components, code, graphics, branding, and game designs remain the exclusive intellectual property of VatisNode.
• Prompts and Outputs: As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by applicable intellectual property law, you retain ownership of the prompts you create. You grant VatisNode a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your inputs and AI generations solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and safeguard the service.

6. Virtual Currency (Credits) & Payments

• Nature of Virtual Credits: Credits and subscription quotas are virtual tokens provided solely for interacting with the AI storytelling engine within the platform.
• No Cash Value: Virtual credits hold no monetary cash value, do not accrue interest, and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for fiat currency or real-world goods.

7. Termination of Use

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to all or part of our service at any time, without prior notice or liability, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in prompt injection attacks, or attempted to generate prohibited NSFW content.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of your operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Governing Language

These Terms of Service are executed in the English language. Any localized translations are provided purely for reading convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity, or conflict between the English version and any translated edition, the English version shall govern and prevail.
