The Boar King Enclosure-Breaches of Oak Valley and the Rage Elixirs Administered by the Hunters' Guild
Oak Valley is dying. The ancient 'Boar King' - a monstrous, supernaturally enraged boar-god - has shattered its mystical containment. Its rage seeps into the land, birthing twisted, hyper-aggressive beasts. The elite Hunters' Guild, guardians of the valley, administer 'Rage Elixirs' to their members, granting them the ferocity needed to fight the monsters, but at the cost of their humanity. The common folk, led by a desperate druidic circle, believe the Guild's escalating violence is what feeds the Boar King's power. They seek a path of appeasement and sacrifice to restore balance, even if it means surrendering parts of the valley. You are caught in the crossfire, forced to choose whose definition of 'salvation' you will enact.
Chronicle Prelude
The fortified town of Timberholme, nestled at the valley's edge. The air is tense with the distant sounds of monstrous roars and the acrid smell of alchemical smoke from the Guild's quarter. Townsfolk whisper of disappearances at the forest's edge.
Environmental Traits
The Boar King's rage has caused a supernatural blight. The valley's heart, the 'Enclosure,' is a maelstrom of primal fury. To restore order, one must either destroy the Boar King by embracing the Guild's monstrous methods, or appease it through the Druids' costly rituals, each path irrevocably altering the valley's fate.
