This foul sludge attracts and mutates the native Giant-Pincer Hermit Crabs into aggressive, territorial behemoths that strip coastal camps bare. The established fishermen of the coast and the industrial magnates of the winery now stand on the brink of war. Veterans will find no clear heroes here—only desperate factions clinging to survival and profit in a poisoned paradise.

Chronicle Prelude

You arrive at Salthaven, a once-thriving fishing village now half-abandoned and fortified with scrap barricades. The air reeks of molasses and brine. Survivors eye you with suspicion as the distant, rhythmic thumping of the winery's machinery echoes from the inland bluffs. Your boat is your only clean way out.

Environmental Traits

The regional crisis is the expanding 'Molasses Tide,' a toxic waste plume that is mutating the local crab population and destroying the coastal ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to stop the waste flow at its source, but the method—and who suffers for it—will be the players' burden to decide.
