Chronicle Prelude

You stand at the maw of the Kobold Warren entrance, a jagged fissure in the mountainside marked with crude, misleading signs and fresh drag marks. The air smells of ozone, rust, and damp fur. A weathered notice board from the Delver's Guild warns of extreme hazard, while a smaller, hidden sign in Sylvan whispers of a 'Pact of the Stone' with the warren's denizens.
