Proprietor Grigor 'Steamhand' Volkov illegally breached deep magma veins to fuel his opulent bathhouse, creating a corrupting symbiosis with molten slimes. Now, the inn is overrun, the baths overflow with magma, and a creeping, superheated corruption seeps into the surrounding wilderness. Veteran adventurers are drawn into a conflict between desperate townsfolk, fanatical elemental cultists, and the proprietor's own crumbling sanity.

Chronicle Prelude

The players arrive at the smoldering ruins of the once-great Hotspring Inn, now a smoky, unstable structure surrounded by a perimeter of nervous townsfolk from the nearby village of Steamburrow. The air shimmers with heat, and faint, gelatinous sounds echo from within.

Environmental Traits
