The Perfumed Skies of Aero-Vale
The floating archipelago of Aero-Vale is choked by a perpetual, sweet-smelling smog—the 'Perfumed Wind-Oil' that fuels its society of winged giants, the Aether-Bladders. When the ore-hauling steam airship 'The Brass Zephyr' crashes on the remote isle of Ignis, its co-pilot, a desperate human, claims the 'Bladder-Giants' pecked the ship to shreds for its cargo. The ruling Aether-Bladders call it a tragic accident caused by the co-pilot's faulty, illicitly-crafted oil. The truth is lost in the clouds. Veteran players must navigate the toxic fumes of corporate conspiracy and genuine monstrous survival to uncover the real cause of the crash, a decision that will determine the fate of two desperate peoples.
Chronicle Prelude
The bustling, vertical port-city of Cogsworth Prime, built into the side of a colossal spire, its air thick with the cloying, sweet scent of refined Perfumed Wind-Oil. Airships of all sizes dock at precarious gantries, and the Aether-Bladders, towering avian giants with steam-vent gills, oversee the loading of cargo.
Environmental Traits
The Perfumed Wind-Oil, a byproduct of the Aether-Bladders' unique biology, is both the region's lifeblood and a creeping poison. Its over-refinement has destabilized the local climate, creating violent 'Gust-Shears' and thickening the smog, threatening to bring the entire sky-archipelago crashing down.
