The ancient pact between the River Mane centaurs and the Stone Hoof centaurs has shattered. The life-giving waters of the Winding River have been diverted by a new mine upstream, poisoning the flow and starving the downstream lands. Veteran players are thrust into a conflict where survival, tradition, and ruthless pragmatism collide. There is no clear villain, only desperate choices and the heavy weight of consequence.

Chronicle Prelude

The players arrive at the embattled River Mane camp, a cluster of hide tents and dying crops along a muddy, sluggish bend of the Winding River. The air is tense, the herds are thin, and the centaurs eye outsiders with weary suspicion.

Environmental Traits

The Winding River, once a thriving artery of life, is now a contested, poisoned resource. The upstream diversion by the Stone Hoof tribe's 'Heartstone Mine' threatens ecological collapse for all downstream life, forcing a desperate confrontation for survival.
