Veteran players will navigate a conflict between desperate souls seeking eternal peace and zealous guardians who believe undeath is a sacred stewardship, all while the very geography reconfigures with the moon.

Chronicle Prelude

The players arrive at the ramshackle port of Salt's End on Whalebone Isle's only stable spit of land. The air reeks of brine and old magic. Masts of wrecked ships jut from the shallows, and the distant archways of fused cetacean bone groan and shift with the tide. Skeletal figures are glimpsed drifting just beneath the waves.

Environmental Traits

The ultimate goal is to reach the Heart of the Cetacean Cathedral, a submerged sanctum within the largest whale skeleton. There, a primordial tide-turning artifact, the Coralcycle Conch, can either grant final rest to all animated skeletons on the isle or bind them permanently as its eternal guardians. The choice will determine the fate of the island's souls.

A skeleton clad in the corroded remnants of fine robes, its jawbone articulated with copper wire. It carries a staff topped with a tuning fork made of whalebone, and a satchel of the Sepulchral Draft. Coral grows in intricate patterns along its limbs, and it moves with a deliberate, ritualistic grace.
