The Thousand-Needle Spires: Intercepted Wings
The wind-carved monoliths of the Thousand-Needle Spires pierce the cloud layer, home to the last great nesting grounds of the Pteranodon griffon-knights—avian mounts vital to the Sky-Clans' patrol routes. But egg thieves have begun leaving enchanted lures along the ancient guardrails, siphoning the creatures toward a mysterious buyer. Caught between a desperate Sky-Clan demanding the thieves' blood and a charismatic druid circle claiming the lures are a mercy to save the pteranodons from a coming blight, you must navigate treacherous spires, unravel the theft conspiracy, and decide whose truth the wind carries.
Chronicle Prelude
You arrive at the Sky-Clan's cliff-side outpost of Aerie's End, a precarious settlement of rope bridges and carved caves clinging to the base of the tallest spire. The air is thin and smells of ozone and droppings; the distant cries of pteranodons echo from above. The clan's elder, grim-faced and desperate, points to a guardrail where a strange, shimmering lure glows faintly—a clear sign of the thieves' work.
Environmental Traits
The Thousand-Needle Spires are a vertical labyrinth of wind-swept stone pillars, connected by ancient, crumbling guardrails and rope bridges. A mysterious blight is withering the native flora, and the pteranodon population is crucial for both the Sky-Clans' survival and the druid circle's desperate ecological plan.
