In the glittering aftermath of a career-defining comeback concert, a legendary singer's lyric sheet is discovered altered. The player must enter the backstage world to untangle the conflicting accounts, financial records, and technological artifacts left behind before the morning press conference.
Initial Crime Scene
The threshold is crossed into a backstage corridor. The air carries the sharp, chemical scent of hairspray. A muffled, looping announcement from an intercom speaker repeats a security bulletin. A VHS security tape log with a flickering timestamp overlay is visible on a monitor. A shredded page from a contract lies in a dressing room trash can. The concrete floor is cold underfoot, scuffed with the marks of hurried traffic.
Crime Scene Environment
The backstage environment is a labyrinth of dim, caged-bulb lighting and stark, fluorescent-lit offices. The air is a volatile mix of expensive perfume and stale dust, creating a heavy, artificial humidity. Acoustic density is high, with sounds muffled by fabric and old wood, punctuated by the hum of electronics and distant, indistinct voices.
