Initial Crime Scene
The fluorescent bulb above flickers, casting intermittent shadows across the worn, scuffed linoleum floor. A thin, coiled telephone cord swings slowly from the wall-mounted receiver. The faint, ever-present hum of a mainframe computer in the administrative wing provides a low, constant drone. A metallic taste, like old batteries, hangs in the air of the solitary wing. Crime Scene Environment
