Two factions now vie for control: the established Artificers' Guild, seeking to contain and control the anomaly at any cost, and a cabal of rogue artificers and elementalists, the 'Unbound', who believe this surge is the next step in evolution—a chance to break the chains of sterile, regulated magic. The true source of the surge, however, lies deeper than either suspects.

Chronicle Prelude

The players arrive in Cogsgate, a city defined by its blend of iron, brass, and arcane crystal. The air smells of ozone and machine oil.
