The truth, however, lies deeper than a simple clash of nature versus commerce. Veteran adventurers are called to the ravaged village of Pine's End to uncover the source of the madness and decide the fate of the mountain.

Chronicle Prelude

Pine's End, a fortified logging village nestled at the base of the Eyrie Range. The timber palisades are scarred by talon marks, and the air is thick with tension between the village guard, led by the pragmatic Captain Harlan, and the encamped members of the Hunter's Cabin, led by the charismatic Master Trapper Vorn. The village elder, Mira, pleads for a diplomatic solution, while the Cabin's quartermaster, Elara, insists the eagles must be put down before they slaughter everyone.

Environmental Traits

The players must navigate the political powder keg of Pine's End, investigate the eagles' strange behavior in the hostile mountain wilderness, and delve into the heart of Eyrie Peak to confront the source of the crimson dye and the ancient pact that sustains it.
