Venture into the mists where every stolen word is a weapon and every whisper could be a lie.

Chronicle Prelude

The Hunter's Rest, a fortified logging camp on the edge of the Echo Woods. It's a neutral zone where worried merchants, paranoid Quill scribes, and shifty Mockingbird informants trade rumors under the watchful eye of the camp's pragmatic leader, Mayor Brask.

Environmental Traits

The Echo Woods are dying. The magical resonance that sustains the ancient trees is fading, blamed on the Mockingbirds' theft of the 'Verdant Key' – a true name.
