The Ghost-Ship Apparitions of Lostbeacon Port and the Hidden Imperial Treasury Beneath the Lighthouse
Lostbeacon Port is a dying coastal town haunted by spectral galleys that rise from the depths on moonless nights, their phantom crews whispering of a cursed treasure. Beneath the town's crumbling lighthouse lies a forgotten Imperial Treasury, sealed for centuries by a pact with entities of the deep. Two desperate factions seek its contents: one to save their starving town, the other to fulfill a dark ancestral oath. The treasury's guardian, a leviathan bound to the lighthouse, grows restless as the seals weaken. To reach it, you must navigate treacherous ruins, pacify or fight the drowned dead, and decide which cause is worth the blood price.
Chronicle Prelude
You arrive at Lostbeacon Port, a once-thriving harbor now draped in perpetual fog and the stench of brine and decay. Dilapidated taverns and merchant stalls line the waterfront, their owners gaunt and haunted. A constant, low moan carries over the waves—said to be the wails of the ghost ships' damned crews. The town's only solid structure, the lighthouse, stands dark and silent, its beam long extinguished.
Environmental Traits
The Imperial Treasury, sealed beneath the lighthouse, contains enough gold and artifacts to restore the port or to fulfill a generations-old pact with the entities of the deep. The spectral ships are guardians, drawn to the treasury's disturbance, and the lighthouse itself is the key to reaching it. Whoever controls the treasury controls the fate of Lostbeacon—whether it withers into a ghost town or becomes a cursed haven for deep-sea cultists.
