Chronicle Prelude

The Undercity Market of Whispers, a sprawling, torchlit bazaar built in the ruins of an old aqueduct. Merchants sell dubious relics and information brokers trade secrets. The air is thick with the scent of incense and damp stone, and the distant, rhythmic chanting of the Idol echoes from below, drawing scholars and zealots alike.
