Chronicle Prelude

The players arrive in the neutral frontier town of Blossom Gate, a crumbling stone archway marking the entrance to the Wildflower Plains. The town square is dominated by a withered Great Blossom tree, its trunk carved with faded runes of old pacts. The scent of fermenting honey and damp fur hangs in the air, and citizens eye each other with suspicion.

Environmental Traits

The ecological heart of the plains, the Golden Hive, is dying. Its honey, which once nourished the land and fueled the local economy, is being corrupted by a mysterious blight. The source is the swapped beehives—ecological sabotage that threatens to trigger a full-scale war between the bugbear clans and the apiarist guild, with the plains caught in the middle.
