Initial Crime Scene
The scent of stale pipe tobacco and iron-gall ink hangs thick in the air. A constant, low creak of stressed timber echoes from the bulkheads. Your lamp light glints off the cracked wax seal on a logbook, the salt-crusted brass hasp of a strongbox, and the polished varnish of the dark wood paneling, trapping faint pressure marks beneath its surface.
Crime Scene Environment
The sandbox is defined by a flickering, yellowish lamplight profile with deep, shifting shadows. The air carries a high humidity and a constant, brine-soaked chill. Acoustic density is dominated by the low-frequency moan of the hull and the hiss of salt spray against thick glass.
